When my dog Max was alive we would often go outside to enjoy rambling strolls.

I remember one that was particularly blissful, enjoyable in every way. I was listening to music and every few steps Max would stop to sniff, nose turned to the air or ground.

Our walks were enjoyable and beneficial but seldom did they reach that level of serenity and oneness.

I realized what made it so different was the connection between Max and me was seamless yet we were both taking in the walk through our own senses, in our own time, in our own way.

In everyday life with our animal pals we usually look at our times through our human lens. Truth is the human lens doesn’t necessarily express our values, but those embedded in us from a society and culture that largely believe animals are to be owned and dominated by humans.

When we remove that human lens, we often witness our animal pal following their own wisdom and their inborn ways of expression in a totally innate, organic way. How does it get better than that?

Begin To Remove The Human Lens

**Remember animals are the custodians of their own lives
**Think true kinship instead of ownership

Learn to recognize and appreciate those shared moments when each of you is communing with the world in your own way and having your own experience, where verification from the other being is not needed.

My work is devoted to helping you show up in the world for animals from the fullness of your authentic self. Generous contributions of supporters like you is what makes it possible for me to continue to do this. Your donation, no matter how large or small, makes a difference.

Thanks for listening to this mini podcast! Just for today remember: We all do better when all creatures do better. Until next week, take good care!
